On Reports

Read through to see the reports of some of the battles we have played using various rulesets like Piquet, Ancient/Medieval Warfare by Terry Gore, DBM, Big Battalions, A Fistful of TOWs etc. Credits for each report are listed at the end of the report. A big thanks to all our players for their valuable contributions to the reports.

A bird's eye view of the battle field has been added whenever possible. We don't play using miniatures yet, so there are no photographs of any. All the pictures were made using Adobe Photoshop. Some of our members are skilled in image manipulation - applicable to battle reports, maps etc. Should you need any service in this regard, contact us and we'd be glad to help you out.

Some of the reports use DBM troop denominations in the map pictures. If you are not familiar with DBM troop types, you might want to read a brief description of the troop types which we have used before you proceed with reading the battle reports.

Waltzes of the Thegns	Anglo Normans vs. Pre Feudal Scots	Duke Renjith defeats the Scots under Sarath Sasix, who himself is slain. Third battle in our campaign Crown of England.
Battle for McGregor's Hill	Rus Vs. Pre Feudal Scots	Mohanus the Rus and his bloodthirsty Pechenegs win the day. Second battle in our campaign Crown of England.
Battle for Milton Keynes	Anglo Normans Vs. Early Normans	Duke Renjith and his Anglo Normans win the day. This is the first battle in our campaign Crown of England.
Last of the Patricians	Patrician Romans Vs. Germanic Tribes	General Mohanius and his men get yet another triumph. Another chapter in the Manojius-Mohanius saga.
The Braves of Germania	Normans Vs. Early Feudal Germans	Normans are crushed in a decisive fashion by a German army which took virtually no losses in the battle.
Knightmare in Gamrie	Normans Vs. Pre-Feudal Scots	Norman Knights mow down the Scots in a sharp engagement. Read the full account, with a twist in the tale.
The return of the Duke	Normans Vs. Anglo Normans	Duke Anand recaptures Tinchebrai in a decisive battle.
The Talker at Tinchebrai	Normans Vs. Anglo Normans	Anglo Normans won the day to claim all of Willaim's legacies. An enjoyable battle played using Terry Gore's Medieval Warfare rules.
Arrows at Dawn	Seleucids Vs. Graeco Bactrians	Seleucids routed. Yet another enjoyable battle played using Terry Gore's Ancient Warfare rules.
Taxi to Victory	Romans Vs. Gauls	Gauls win! This was one of our first battles played using Terry Gore's Ancient Warfare rules.
A Wolf upon the Fold	Assyrians Vs. NK Egyptians	Assyrians stomp the New Kingdom Egyptians
The Boars of Ahemar	Selucids Vs Early Carthaginian	Seleucids crush the Carthaginian Invaders
The Battle of Lutetia	Gaul Vs Caesarian Rome	Gauls get mauled yet again at the hands of Romans. The Mohanius-Manojius Saga continues.
The Battle Of YangTze	Marian Roman Vs. Warring States Chinese	A minor victory for the Romans. Both sides agreed to disengage as darkness fell.
The Battle Of Ostia	Marian Roman Vs. Polybian Roman	A major victory for the Marian Romans. Light horse played an important role in this battle.
The Battle Of Sicily	Polybian Roman Vs. Gallic	A decisive victory for the Romans. The Gauls surrendered near the end.
The Battle Of Montpellier	Later Carthaginian Vs. Gallic	A major victory for the Gauls. The battle saw some unusual tactics from the Gauls
The Battle Of Messana	Polybian Roman Vs. Later Carthaginian	A major victory for the Romans. The Carthaginian C-in-C was slain towards the end.

Battle of Al Kasba	Teutonic Knights Vs. Knights of St. John	A very dynamic battle. The Teutons took loses but won the day.
Yoshiwara Blues	Spanish Vs. 16th Century Samurai	Report of the first battle in our campaign 1548 - A Spanish invasion of Japan. The Japanese suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of the Spanish in the plains of Okayama.
Black Day for the Teutons	Teutonic Knights Vs. Knights of St. John	Black day for the Teutons!!
Gonsalvo's Waltz	Spanish Vs. French	French win the day in a ferocious battle.
